GO OUTSIDE!

AWESOME! We bought it at Menards here in Jackson.

We have been pretty busy these past few days.

We dispatched the Grandparents to come in and help with the build and child care.
It’s a pretty cool thing, and yes, the kids love it.
Fearful.
Fearless.

We have to work out the ground issue. Mulch, pea gravel, or sod. We’ll see.

  3. ooo that is so awesome! (wish i would have had one of those when i was a kid...mine was metal and consisted of two swings and a slide) about the ground...dear lord does mulch cause boo boos when ya fall or jump/land on it (little splintery sticks stuck in the feet and hands). pea gravel would be great, it moves when ya land on it, grass is a good option too, cushions the landing :D

i bet the kids just love this thing, it looks like they do :D

  4. Outstanding. My baby grands would love something like this. Only, alas, their house has a postage stamp sized yard.
As a granpaw and a former school teacher, can I recommend mulch. Sod will just wear down, pea gravel tracks and can embed in tender flesh and hurts bare feet. Mulch, is kinder to flesh, and tracks less. Just my experience speaking.

  5. Good job! Just at the right time for your kids - the transition from fearful to fearless.

I vote for mulch -- the cedar/redwood chip stuff, not the shreddy stuff. Won't hurt so much if the kids wind up throwing it at each other.
